What happens at Borgo
Every day something unique happens at Borgo Egnazia. Something that happens Nowhere Else.
As usual in old Puglian villages, the picturesque Piazza of the Borgo is a place to meet and celebrate. An open-air stage where, at least for a day, you will return children and experience the magic of traditional festivals, with street art and artisan papier-mache sculptures created by the master Deni Bianco, dancing to the music of traditional rituals and world-famous DJs.
Here time is marked by the seasons and by the joyful alternation of traditional rural events, heartfelt tributes to the Puglian village festivals. We celebrate the summer harvests, the September grape feast, the local artisan marvels of the Christmas markets, with local delicacies cooked live, and the arrival of spring with a big bonfire.
